Beetles Walk-Off, Move Into Second PlaceWith the bases loaded and one out in the tenth inning, Dan DeGeorge provided the game winning RBI fielder’s choice as the Beetles knocked off the Duluth Huskies 6-5 at Knute Nelson Park. Matt Hill (5-2) earned the win, striking out the side in the top of the tenth; Robb Wort was tagged with the loss (0-2).

Beetles Pound Honkers, Sweep SeriesEarly run support aided Robert Dickmann to his fourth consecutive victory on Tuesday night as the Beetles draw within one-half game of first place Thunder Bay with a 10-4 win over Rochester. Dickmann went seven strong innings, allowing nine hits and just one earned run while striking out five.
